“One of the things I like most about women’s health is the variety,” she says. “You have the opportunity to see women of all ages and there are so many different layers to the care being provided.”
She says, “Gynecology, obstetrics, breast conditions, oncology, makes every day a different challenge.”
Abjornson’s particular area of interest is contraception counseling. “I like working with each individual patient to determine what will work best for them and their lifestyle,” she says.
