Southern New Hampshire Medical Center is proud to offer the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) designed for individuals 18 years of age and older who are struggling with a substance use disorder. Diagnoses we treat include but are not limited to Alcohol Use Disorder, Opioid Use Disorder, Stimulant Use Disorder, Cocaine Use Disorder, and Cannabis Use Disorder. No referral is needed.

The program allows patients to attend evening sessions and receive treatment while living in the comfort of their own homes and continuing to work in the community.  Our goal is to help patients establish a foundation for life-long sobriety in a safe and supportive group environment. Each patient will have a comprehensive substance use evaluation before starting the program to ensure the IOP is the appropriate level of care.

The program includes:
  • Average length of stay is typically 16 sessions over a four-week period.
  • Meets every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
  • Aftercare support is available to everyone who completes the IOP, including a weekly aftercare group (which relies heavily on the Peer Support model of care).
The Intensive Outpatient Program is located at our West Campus at 29 Northwest Boulevard in Nashua, NH 03063. For more information, call 603-579-5108 or visit snhhealth.org/iop.

We accept most insurances, including Medicare and NH Medicaid Managed Care Plans. Please contact your insurance provider for specific coverage details.
