Community Medical School Session on Approaches to Fibroids

Join us for our upcoming Community Medical School Session on Approaches to Fibroids, presented by Dr. Derek Jurus, staff OB/GYN at Women's Care of Nashua, and University of New England Medical Students.

  • Time: 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  

  • Location: Southern New Hampshire Medical Center  

  • Address: 10 Prospect St., Nashua, NH  

  • Room: Conference Room A/B/C/D (located on the lower level of the building)  

  • Parking: Available in any Southern New Hampshire Health parking lot  

  • A light dinner and coffee will be served.   

Dr. Jurus and medical students from UNE will share valuable insights on the different methods of treating uterine fibroids including non-surgical and minimally invasive procedures. A Q&A session will follow. Don’t miss out.  

This event is open to the public, but registration is required due to limited space 

 

 

Derek Jurus, DO is a Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine graduate and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Penn State University Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA.  

Dr. Jurus is a full-scope OB/GYN who is passionate about collaborating with patients who have fibroids and are experiencing symptoms.  He is skilled in minimally invasive approaches to treat fibroids, including laparoscopic and robotics surgery.  

 Dr. Jurus is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist.
