Community Medical School events will offer the opportunity to learn more in depth about important health topics, and will provide access to the expertise of Southern NH Health providers as speakers. Join us for our upcoming Community Medical School Session on Approaches to Fibroids, presented by Dr. Derek Jurus, staff OB/GYN at Women's Care of Nashua, and University of New England Medical Students.

Dr. Jurus and medical students from UNE will share valuable insights on the different methods of treating uterine fibroids including non-surgical and minimally invasive procedures. A Q&A session will follow. Don’t miss out.

Derek Jurus, DO is a Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine graduate and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Penn State University Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA.
Dr. Jurus is a full-scope OB/GYN who is passionate about collaborating with patients who have fibroids and are experiencing symptoms. He is skilled in minimally invasive approaches to treat fibroids, including laparoscopic and robotics surgery.
Dr. Jurus is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist.
