Southern New Hampshire Health Names Shannon Levesque as New Chief People Officer

Southern New Hampshire Health has named Shannon Levesque as the organization’s first Chief People Officer. Shannon will steer talent strategy and workforce development to help meet our region’s growing healthcare needs.

Shannon brings more than 25 years of experience leading human resources programs, including extensive work within community hospital systems across New England. Her deep industry knowledge, coupled with a seasoned approach to workforce planning, employee engagement, and talent development, uniquely positions her to lead Southern New Hampshire Health’s people strategy.

Shannon’s leadership will help us further deliver on our mission to improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve and foster a culture that values and supports our people.”

Prior to joining Southern New Hampshire Health, Shannon served as Interim Division Vice President of Human Resources for the Community Hospitals division at Beth Israel Lahey Health, overseeing HR leadership teams across seven hospitals. In previous roles at Exeter Health Resources, Boston Children's Hospital, and Baystate Health, she led major initiatives in workforce development, employee retention, and performance management.

Shannon earned her Master of Business Administration from Rivier University in Nashua and completed her undergraduate degree at Jacksonville University in Florida. She holds both Senior Professional in Human Resources and Society for Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional certifications.

Southern New Hampshire Health is a nonprofit healthcare system that employs more than 2,700 individuals and includes Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, a 188-bed hospital in Nashua, as well as Foundation Medical Partners, a multi-specialty provider group with more than 320 clinicians.
