Employees and Teen Volunteers Honored and Awarded Scholarships!

A big congratulations to the five employees and six teen volunteers who won scholarships from the Southern New Hampshire Health Auxiliary! They have all put in countless hours at the hospital and we thank them for their dedication.

There were seven different scholarships awarded by the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center Auxiliary. Recipients were each awarded a $1,000 scholarship.

Meghan Bilodeau, started working at Southern New Hampshire Health in July 2018 as a Clinical Assistant in 3 West. She is working towards her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Rivier University. Bilodeau was awarded the Medical Center Scholarship. She is taking three classes a semester. 

Victoria Francia started working at Southern in August 2016 as a Medical Assistant at Nashua Rheumatology. She takes two classes per semester at Rivier University, working towards her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Francia was awarded the Patricia Mandravelis Nursing Scholarship.

Romina Jimenez started at Southern in July 2018 in the Behavioral Health Unit. She is working towards a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing. She was awarded the Ann McWeeney Scholarship.

Alicia Laminu started in the Behavioral Health Unit at Southern in September 2018. She is taking one class per semester towards her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Southern New Hampshire University. Laminu was awarded the Richard L. Coit Scholarship. 

Shannon Soucy is a chief cardiovascular specialist RN, RTR, TCIS and has been at the hospital since 2007. She is working towards her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rivier University. She was awarded the Patricia Mandravelis Nursing Scholarship.

Teen Volunteers

Tanisha Asarpota has been in the messenger office at the hospital for two years and two months. She has volunteered 248 hours over the past two years. Asarpota was awarded the Ann McWeeney Scholarship. She will be going to Northeastern University in the fall.

Ananya Bakshi has volunteered for three years and nine months in the messenger office, putting in 309 hours. Bakshi was awarded the Richard L. Coit Scholarship. She will be attending Cornell University in the fall. 

Estefania Guerrero-Hernandez has volunteered for two years and nine months at the Gift Shop. She volunteered 389 hours of her time. Guerrero-Hernandez was awarded the SNHMC Auxiliary Scholarship. She plans on attending Nashua Community College in the fall.

Grace Lehto has volunteered 323 hours over the past three years and two months at the Gift Shop. Lehto was awarded the Ruth Musick Scholarship. She is going to the University of Chicago in the fall.

Anshu Punreddy has volunteered as a messenger and in the Emergency Department for the last four years and four months. She volunteered 277 hours at the hospital. Punreddy was awarded the Patricia Mandravelis Nursing Scholarship. She will be going to St. Bonaventure University in the fall.

Srinath Rangan has volunteered for two years and seven months, giving 175 hours to the messenger office and will be going to the University of Berkley in the fall. He was awarded the Tom Wilhelmsen Scholarship.
