About Our Practice

Neurosurgery of Southern New Hampshire Medical Center is the region’s premier comprehensive center of excellence for spine treatment, providing both surgical and nonsurgical care for trauma, tumors, congenital disorders, and other deformities and conditions of the neck, spine, skull and brain.

Our team, including neurosurgeons Tung Nguyen, MD, and Katharine Cronk, MD, Ph.D., treats each patient with respect and as a partner in care. We are committed to working with you to make healthcare decisions based on your needs, goals, and the best available scientific evidence. We listen carefully and perform a meticulous neurological exam to determine the best treatment options, which may or may not include surgery.

When surgery is necessary, you can rest assured that you or your loved one receives the highest quality care available.  Our surgeons are trained in specialized treatments including cervical artificial disc replacement using the Mobi-C® Cervical Discs, coflex® Interlaminar Stabilization® devices for spinal stenosis, and minimally invasive techniques. They are also among the only surgeons in New England providing radiation-free 7D Machine-vision Image Guided Surgery technology and were the first in the region utilizing it.

At Neurosurgery of Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, we are dedicated to providing you with the most experienced, individualized, and compassionate care available.  Our neurosurgeons have the advanced training and experience to assess, diagnose, and treat your neurosurgical injury or condition and help you get your life back. In 2005 Dr. NGUYEN operated on my husband who had a stroke knowing he had no medical insurance. It was a rough surgery after a complication and we had no clue what disabilities he would have. Happy to say he can walk for 15 min, short term memory is affected, but he is doing well. Thank you. You saved his life! Dad of 5 and Grand dad to 4.
