About Ann Lo, MD
Ann Lo, MD, is an obstetrics and gynecology physician with Foundation OB/GYN. She cares for patients in her office, in the hospital, and at The Birth Place. Her care includes birth control, pregnancy, delivery, abnormal periods, menopause, office procedures, and gynecologic surgery, including hysterectomies.
She earned her medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine, and she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Caring for women and their families through many stages of life is what drew her to obstetrics and gynecology. She enjoys the variety of her work and the chance to build strong relationships with her patients. “Every day is different and exciting to a full-scope OB/GYN like myself,” says Dr. Lo.
Her approach to care is personal and team-based. She takes time to get to know each patient, explain options clearly, and share the most up-to-date medical information. Together, they choose a care plan that fits the patient’s needs, values, and health goals.
Strong relationships, according to Dr. Lo, are built on empathy, trust, and listening. She enjoys getting to know patients and working together as a team.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, trying good food, and reading. She is also the proud mom of two gymnasts.
