About Ciara A. Kazakis, DO

Dr. Ciara Kazakis is a board-certified physician who earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Kentucky, a Master of Science from University of South Florida, in Tampa, Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire. She completed her residency at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, New York, and has worked as an internal medicine physician since then.

Dr. Kazakis became a DO so that she could focus on treating her patients in a holistic manner. She recognizes the importance of listening to and getting to know her patients and sees the ideal patient/provider relationship as “a partnership where the patient can weigh in and ask questions to help guide the care in a direction they seek.”

In her free time, Dr. Kazakis enjoys spending time with her husband, four children, and two dogs. She is an avid horseback rider and enthusiast in addition to being an animal rescue advocate and volunteer.
