Saving a Life through Kidney Donation at Southern NH Health

It’s a touching story of selflessness and gratitude that has resonated throughout Southern New Hampshire Health. On WMUR’s Heart of NH show, Richard Tan promoted Give Life Month, by thanking Carrie Illg who donated her kidney to save his life. The two work at Southern NH Health, but didn’t know each other until Carrie, a nurse practitioner, was tested and came back as a match. After her donation and their recovery, they are both back at work and will forever be connected.
