Southern New Hampshire Medical Center is dedicated to providing innovative technology for the best possible patient care. In May and June 2022, Southern New Hampshire Medical Center installed two brand new GE Digital Xray Rooms replacing previous units. This newer technology provides improved quality imaging at a lower radiation dose to patients. With increased table weight limits and ability to lower the table to 18 inches, patients move on and off of the table more safely and efficiently.
In August 2022, SNHMC installed a brand-new GE Digital Fluoroscopy room. This room utilizes cutting edge technology to make patient exams safer and more efficient. The machine can perform leg length exams and scoliosis imaging utilizing digital technology for optimal image quality.
In addition, earlier in 2022, SNHMC installed a new CT scanner. Installation of these four new pieces of radiology equipment over the past year is an important step in delivering on our commitment to top notch quality and patient comfort using the latest technologies in the field.
