Surgical Oncology

Surgical oncology is the treatment of cancer through surgery. Many cancers require a combination of surgical, medical, and radiation oncology. ​

Our board-­certified and fellowship-trained surgeons perform cancer biopsies and surgeries, from minimally invasive to complex. ​

Radiation Oncology

Radiation oncology is the treatment of cancer through high-energy radiation (like X-rays or gamma rays). Many cancers require a combination of surgical oncology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology.

At Southern New Hampshire Health, our radiation oncologists work closely withspecialists, pharmacists, nurses, and our partners at the Radiation Center of GreaterNashua to provide advanced, coordinated cancer care. Using state-of-the-art radiationtherapy and the latest treatment technology, we precisely target tumors and cancer cellswhile minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissue. In some cases, implantedradioactive seeds may also be used to deliver highly targeted treatment directly to thecancer site. 

Gynecologic Oncology

Gynecologic oncology focuses on cancers affecting the female reproductive system. Because many gynecologic cancers can develop with subtle or overlapping symptoms, early diagnosis can be especially challenging. Our team provides specialized care, advanced diagnostic expertise, and personalized treatment for those facing gynecologic cancers.​
