The Intensive Care Unit at Southern NH Medical Center has 11-beds for critically ill patients who need continuous care and observation. Our Critical Care Medicine team, which works across all of SolutionHealth, is comprised of specially trained staff, including 11 board-certified Intensivists. These highly skilled intensivists provide round-the-clock, on-site coverage at the ICU to ensure patients receive the highest-quality and timeliest care possible. This model of care has been shown to increase survival rates, reduce length of stay, reduce complications, and improve the overall safety and quality of care. In addition to our Intensivists, a multidisciplinary team approach ensures patients benefit from the best care and outcomes possible. These team members include: Critical care nurses Respiratory therapists Clinical pharmacists Clinical dieticians Physical and occupational Therapists Social workers Chaplains And others By offering this high-level of critical care services, SolutionHealth’s Critical Care Medicine team can care for more patients locally, without the need to transfer to other academic medical centers.
